BBC Community Radio Station: WOVU 95.9FM

Launched in 2018, Our Voices United (WOVU 95.9) was created to connect community residents with valuable information and resources through on-air broadcasting and associated social media accounts.  Today, WOVU serves as a dynamic platform for addressing our community’s concerns while also showcasing local talent and positive urban music.

WOVU is the fourth and most recent social enterprise established by Burten, Bell, Carr Development, Inc.  BBC’s operations are guided by the motto that people support what they help create, and WOVU provides many exciting and creative ways to engage, involve, and uplift the community.
