BBC is taking applications for a Resident Resource Coordinator to support and enhance the work taking place with the Central Neighborhood’s Healthy Eating, Active Living (HEAL) Network in Cleveland, OH. As an AmeriCorp VISTA, the Coordinator will help train and support resident ambassadors who are looking to increase their leadership capacity while improving access to healthy foods in their community.
Responsibilities: Ambassador on-boarding, building resident voice and project ideas, institution and ambassador relationship building, project planning, project implementation, small grant applications, recruitment of new resident ambassadors.
Skills: Public speaking, writing/editing, general skills, recruitment, leadership, fund raising/grant writing, computers/technology, youth development, community organization, communications.
