This is the time of the year where we reflect on our accomplishments and prepare for the upcoming year. We know that BBC could not accomplish its goals without the support and hard work of our residents. Please join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of 2016, and keep the momentum for 2017 and beyond. For the 2nd year, we would like to recognize community members who have made a significant impact. We are seeking nominations for the following awards:
- Momentum Emerging Leader: an individual or group that recently started working in collaboration with BBC and neighborhood partners to bring an exciting initiative/project to our neighborhoods. (within 1 year)
- Mildred Cephus Award Legacy Leader: an individual or group that has a longstanding relationship with BBC and neighborhood partners and continuously works to improve the quality of life for themselves and their neighbors. (5 years or more)
If you would like to nominate someone for either award, please submit a brief paragraph indicating why you believe this person should receive the award. Each nominee will be an honored guest at our Annual Holiday Event. Nominations must be submitted to Joy Johnson by Monday, November 14, 2016.
