BBC welcomed hundreds of cyclists from all walks of life to the Kinsman neighborhood on Sunday, September 28.

Cyclists were participating in an event called Forest City Fundo, a bike tour of Cleveland’s neighborhoods with 12-, 32-, and 62-mile routes. Forest City Fundo was coordinated by Bike Cleveland, a local nonprofit organization that promotes all forms of cycling and advocating for the rights and equality of the cycling community. This was the first year for the event, in which approximately 650 people participated.

BBC hosted a rest stop for cyclists at Bridgeport Place, where participants were able to take a break from their rides and refuel with refreshments. BBC staff worked alongside volunteers to ensure that snacks and beverages were available and questions about both the route and neighborhood were answered.

We have a few photos of our rest stop below.

BBC would like to thank Bike Cleveland for allowing us to play an important role in the event.  We look forward to participating again in 2015.
