Greater Cleveland RTA is hosting a meeting THURSDAY to gather community input on the Rapid Transit Stations along E. 79th Street. The meeting will be held at:

Mt Sinai Baptist Church

The purpose of this meeting is to gather more information and comments from the public about the E. 34th and E. 79th Street Rapid Transit stations.  Residents may also complete a survey by coming into BBC’s office or visiting

RTA is holding a community meeting to gather more information and comments from the public about the need for the East 34th Street Rapid Transit station. The meeting will be held at the Tri-C Metro Campus, Center Building at 6pm on November 5th. Campus District, Inc. urges community residents and stakeholders  to attend this meeting.

Staff from RTA and the project consultant Parsons Brinckerhoff will also be out on the platforms at E 34th St.  and E 79th St. Red Line stations on Tuesday October 21st to distribute surveys and flyers to riders at the two stations.

Attend the meeting and make your voice heard about your transit needs!

Vice President Joe Biden will be in the Kinsman neighborhood today!

Kinsman will host a VIP visitor this afternoon!.  Vice President Joe Biden will give a speech on the importance of investing in infrastructure for roads and bridges across the U.S.  He will be speaking at the RTA Central Rail Complex on Grand Avenue near E. 73rd St at 1:30 pm today.

Opportunity Corridor Public Meeting Tomorrow!!!

The Opportunity Corridor Study is investigating possible roadway alternatives to create the transportation infrastructure for the revival and redevelopment of large tracts of vacant industrial and residential land in the city of Cleveland.

The purpose of this public meeting will be to present the initial findings of the study and to gather public input regarding the corridor and conceptual alternative solutions being developed.

All comments received will be given careful consideration as the study progresses.
