CMSD invites you to enroll in the Spring Session of CMSD Parent University. All parents or caregivers of students enrolled in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District or district sponsored Charter Schools are eligible to participate. The workshops and classes are free of cost.

Please complete the application form and mail or fax it back to the address indicated. You may also register by phone at 216.858.0117. You will receive a confirmation letter or e-mail. You can also check on the status of your application by calling 216.858.0117 .

• The acceptance letter will list the class start and end dates and location. If you decide not to attend the class, please call

216.858.0117 and we will remove your name from the class list.

• If the class is already full, we will send you a letter letting you know that your name is on the waiting list for that class. We will notify you as soon as space opens in that class or when the next class is being offered.

Each time you come to a workshop or course you will be entered into a raffle drawing for various prizes including a wireless pc tablet, gift cards, and other items.

Recreational activities for children ages 5-18 are available at each site, and dinner is provided for the whole family.

We look forward to your participation in CMSD’s Parent University.

Youth Summer Job Opportunity–Cleveland Green Corps!

You can learn about gardening, business, healthy living and culinary skills!

You can do anything you put your mind to!

Green Corps is a seasonal work-study program for high school youth in Cleveland. Students work to maintain Learning Farms, harvest and sell produce at markets, and help produce Ripe from Downtown Salsa.

Throughout the season, these youth learn life skills, agriculture and horticulture skills, business skills, and environmental stewardship. Students work together to learn how to make their own lives and their communities better.

You can take action and make a difference in the world!

You can have a fun summer job!

You can make Cleveland and your neighborhood a better place!

You can work and make a positive difference in your community!

Apply for the program by March 30, 2012.

To receive supplies, books, and Carnival tickets, parent/guardians must:

  • Bring each child’s student assignment letter
  • Attend 2 (two) workshop held during the roundup
  • Note: school supplies are limited to 2packs per family
  • Free breakfast and lunch served
  • Free raffle (prizes include bicycles, gift cards, uniform vouchers, and much more)
  • Shuttle bus transportation provide
