Book Drive for Garden Valley Neighborhood House

Garden Valley Neighborhood House is hosting a 12-Hour Read-a-thon to promote literacy in the community on March 18, 2017! On the days leading up to the event, Cleveland State University Students in NASW in collaboration with GVNH is hosting a book drive!

They are accepting new or gently used book that can be delivered on the day of the read-a-thon.

Books can be dropped off near the main entrance of Cleveland State University’s Michael Schwartz Library or on the 14th floor of the Rhodes Tower Rm. 1417 until March 10, 2017.

Community Development Survey

The City of Cleveland Department of Community Development is developing its 2017 plan to distribute federal funds to residents and neighborhoods. This planning requires the community and stakeholders to inform its plan development. We are looking for more community input about priorities and activities that should be considered for funding.

Thrive 105-93 Planning Commission Meetings

The Cleveland Planning Commission needs your help in planning the E. 105th St., Woodhill Rd., and E. 93rd St. Corridor for new transit, new development, and new public spaces.

This could help with better access to jobs, make people feel safer, support a healthy lifestyle, and build community pride
