What is your civic vision? Do you want $5,000 to support it?

Accelerate 2016

Apply today to have your voice heard!

What’s your civic vision? Do you want $5,000 to help bring it to life? The application period is now open for individuals who want to make a pitch at Accelerate 2016: Citizens Make Change. This second annual civic pitch competition, presented by Cleveland Leadership Center and Citizens Bank, gives every individual a chance to share and act on a personal vision to improve NE Ohio.

Twenty-five people will be selected to pitch their ideas at the event on February 24, 2016, in one of five categories:

*Quality of Life

*Economic Development

*Educating for Tomorrow

*Community Change

*Transformative Arts and Culture

Pitch submissions by individual members of the community should be for civic change that will create positive community impact − compelling, innovative and wild ideas that will make our region a better place. Initiatives cannot be proposed by or on behalf of an organization.

A Huff Post blogger deemed last year’s Accelerate event “Shark Tank meets Ted Talks.” Don’t be left out!

Help Citizens Bank and CLC strengthen and serve NEO and submit your pitch before December 18.

Submit a civic pitch … or make your reservation below so you can hear exciting ideas, vote on the winner, and maybe make a connection to help someone’s idea become reality.
