Bystanders can recieve $1 bones and $1 dessert.

Winners will receive a trophy!

All proceeds will benefit the Garden Valley Falcons football organization.

Burten, Bell, Carr Development, Inc. serves as fiscal agent for the Garden Valley Falcons youth football team and wishes them a successful season.

The Word Church will be giving away fresh produce (first come, first served!) at Word North’s office located at 2439 E. 55th street (located in the DMV plaza) in Cleveland.  Distribution will take place from 10:00 am-12:00 noon, every 3rd Saturday through October.

Fresh produce will also be given away at the Word West office located at 3201 W. 73rd Street in Cleveland.  Distribution will take place every 4th Saturday from 10:00 am-12 noon (through October).

The Word church also has free food pantries at their South location (on South Miles Rd) and their East location (in the East Cleveland Civic Center).  The food pantries are open on Saturdays.  These programs (food pantry) are through the Federal Government and are income-based, so an application must be completed. These programs are open to the public.   If you have any questions, please contact the main campus (South) at 216 332-9673.

The Cleveland Senior Walk is a FREE COMMUNITY WALK

to encourage health and physical activity for older adults!

Pre-registered walkers will receive a t-shirt and healthy snacks. All are encouraged to participate in health screenings and activities before and after the walk. Walkers can choose from a half mile or full mile loop. The walk is a rain or shine event!

The Neighborhood Leadership Development Program is currently recruiting individuals who want to bring about positive change in their neighborhoods

The NLDP is a fourteen session program that develops the leadership skills of citizens working to improve Cleveland and its neighborhoods.  Whether you run a seasoned non-profit, volunteer your time to improve your community, or you’re the neighborhood “go-to” person, the NLDP can help you become a more effective leader.
