Please join us for the “Waiting for Superman” Movie & a Meal event taking place Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 11:00am to 3:30pm.

“Waiting for Superman” is Davis Guggenheim’s latest film!  Teens and adults who care about Central are invited to view the film and share their thoughts about how the Cleveland Central Promise Neighborhood can support children in Central.

This film is showing across the country.  It looks at some of the barriers that seem to prevent many children in public schools from doing their best.

Highlights:

– Charter bus departs from Friendly Inn Settlement House for Cedar Lee Cinema in Cleveland Heights by 11:15am

– Meal and discussion upon return to Friendly Inn Settlement House after film

– Childcare for children 6-12 years on first-come, first-served basis

– Younger children and teens can attend with parents

Call (216) 241-9300 or email [email protected] to reserve your tickets for the bus, movie, lunch, and/or childcare by 10/25/10.

This event is presented by the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland, a Ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System.  For more details, please visit socfcleveland.org.
