The First Energy Fuel Fund provides a one time grant assistance to past due customers of The Illuminating Company, Ohio Edison, & Toledo Edison. The maximum benefit is $300 & customers must have made a payment within the past 90 days in order to qualify for the program.
Households whose gross income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines are eligible for the First Energy Fuel Fund.
