NC Grant Seeker Orientations

Neighborhood Connections strongly recommends that you attend one of our Grant Seeker Orientation sessions to learn more about completing the application. We will have a new application starting this round and it’s important that you learn the new details about completing this proposal. There are still four sessions left! (These are group sessions)

The Next Due Date for Grant Proposals Is:

Friday, August 14th at 5pm

Proposals may be sent by mail or hand delivered, but must be at The Cleveland Foundation by the 14th at 5pm in order to be considered. Proposals may not be submitted by fax or email. We are now requesting that you send us six copies of your proposal (including six copies of supplemental/support materials). Neighborhood Connection is offering help to grant seekers who are in need of assistance with their grant application. A Neighborhood Connection representative will be at each of the following locations to offer one-on-one
assistance to any applicant at these dates and times.

Community Fish Fry Fundraiser

August 1, 2009



    The Men of Central is hosting a community fundraiser August 1, 2009 3:00p.m.-8:00p.m. 2511 East 46th Street, Cleveland Ohio outside Lonnie Burten recreation center to raise money for our youth back to school rally, where school supplies, talent show, food, and other prizes will be awarded. The back to school rally will be held in August the end of the summer. The exact date will be published in our next newsletter edition so keep a look out for us.

We invite the community to come out and support our organization and youth for this worth while cause

    Let’s support our youth, our community, and our own community organization.

Money for Cleveland Grassroots Projects is Available!

Neighborhood Connections, a special program affiliated with the Cleveland Foundation will provide grants of $500 to $5,000 to projects that will benefit Cleveland neighborhood. Proposals are due Friday, August 14th, at 5:00pm. All neighborhood groups in the City of Cleveland are eligible, whether or not
are registered as a non-profit. Groups interested in applying for funding are encouraged to attend one of six orientation sessions to discuss how to obtain a grant. These sessions will be held at the following locations:

Wednesday, July 22nd, 4pm to 6pm, Brooklyn Branch, Cleveland Public Library, 3706 Pearl Road
